is giving Zebra Zone 20% of each

Immunization Records

Parents of Zebra Zone Child Care:


Harris County Health and Human Services called today to schedule an audit of our immunization records.

Please provide your child’s current immunization record IMMEDIATELY. If I have not received a current immunization record by December 12, 2011, your child will not be allowed to return to Zebra Zone on January 3.

If you are in charge of the Auction Basket for your child's class, please make sure you've signed up for a basket before Thanksgiving break.  The sign up is on the bulletin board in the front hallway!

LOST TORY BURCH SUNGLASSES

A parent lost her Tory Burch sunglasses

during the Fall Festival.

If you found them, please bring them up

to the front office.

COOKIE DELIVERY

Cookies will be delivered

Monday, November 14^th

in the middle of the day.

PLEASE take home your cookies

that night.  We do not have freezers

to store your cookies for you.

FRIDAY CLOSING

Please remember that

Zebra Zone closes at 5:00 PM

on Fridays. Late fees will be

charged to anyone arriving after

5:00 PM on Fridays.

PARKING LOT AND PURSES

Please drive a safe

speed through the parking lot.

We have toddlers that run in the

street occasionally and this can be dangerous.

Also, DO NOT leave valuables

in your car.  Several cars have been

broken into.  It is mainly during

the weekends, but they have hit us before.

INSECT REPELLENT

The mosquitoes are worse than

they have been in years.

Please make sure your child has

insect repellent in their tote

trays.  We will apply it before

going outside each time.

Reminders

• Tomorrow is fall pictures.  No money is needed, just beautiful children!
• Tomorrow night is Zebra Zone Night at Luby's Town & Country.  Fliers were sent home yesterday.
• Friday is Fall Festival.  The Costume Parade begins promptly at 3:30.  Send in your child's costume labeled in a bag so that the teachers can change them.  Remember, no wands or weapons!

FALL FESTIVAL

Zebra Zone’s annual fall festival is

Friday, October 28^th.  Costume Parade will

begin at 3:30 on the dot.  Note the new time!!

Then the festivities will begin on the front lawn.

COSTUMES

Please bring your child’s costume

Friday, October 28^th and place them in

their cubbies.  We will dress everyone

after snack and nap time.

NO WEAPONS AND NO WANDS!

LUBY’S NIGHT

Eat dinner at Luby’s in Town & Country

on Wednesday, October 26^th

and Zebra Zone will receive 15%

of each meal purchased.

ANTS ON THE PLAYGROUND

Please know that we work

closely with maintenance with the ant

epidemic, but the chemicals that can

be used are not strong.  It is a federal law.

The district is very limited on what the can use.

SICK POLICY

When your child is sent home with

any kind of illness, they must be

free of that illness 24 hours before returning

to school.  This helps keep

everyone, including your child, well.

PAC Meeting TOMORROW!!!

ZZ News 8-29

Zebra Zone News for the week of August 29-September 2. 

Construction

Parents- yesterday started a new phase of construction near Zebra Zone.  Kimberley continues to be one way- going east from Town & Country past West Bough (you cannot get to Zebra Zone from in front of Bendwood Park).  Beginning yesterday, West Bough is one-way- SOUTHBOUND ONLY- from Kimberley to Memorial.  This phase should last about 3 weeks.  Be proceed with caution in this area!!!

Need Labels?

Zebra Zone has an ongoing fundraiser with Oliver's Labels.  Oliver's Labels offers waterproof labels (for bottles and sippy cups), iron on labels, sticky labels, and clothing labels.  Feel free to share this with everyone you know that needs labels!

All students will need to bring a Sack Lunch Thursday, August 11th - Friday, August 19th.  The cafeteria will open on Monday, August 22nd. 

Meet the Teacher

Meet the Teacher is on Wednesday, August 10th at 2:00.  You will also be able to join Zebra Zone PAC that day as well!!!  I'll be working on updating the Blog and gathering everyone's email addresses.  If you haven't received a summer letter from Stacy Brezina or a PAC letter from Carrie Kohl, please email me at carrie.kohl@springbranchisd.com!  Thanks!!!

Candid Cameos

Pictures will continue to be taken this week. We have had such a huge response one afternoon was not enough time....which is a great problem to have! Rather than waiting until after school to take pictures we are going to get pictures done in the mornings. Candid Cameos

Parents, We will be taking Candid Cameo pictures tomorrow, Tuesday, April 5. Since it is picture day we thought this would be a great time since everyone will be dressed well and clean for pictures. Very little of the outfits will make it into the picture, so no need to feel that school pictures and Candid Cameo pictures will be the same. Candid Cameos have been a huge hit!

Tomorrow, April 5th is Spring Pictures. Make sure you select that "perfect" spring outfit!

Registration

Parents,
Make sure you have registered your child to attend Zebra Zone for the 2011-2012 school year BEFORE Spring Break! After Spring Break, registration will be open to new families from across the district. Your spot will NOT be held unless you have turned in your registration form and check.

Rodeo Day
